Legless Rope Climb

The legless rope climb is an advanced version of the traditional rope climb, which involves pulling oneself up a vertical rope using only the arms and without the use of the legs. The legless rope climb is a full-body exercise that primarily targets the upper body, particularly the arms, shoulders, and back.
In CrossFit, the legless rope climb is often used as a challenging upper-body exercise or as part of a high-intensity workout that includes other bodyweight exercises or gymnastics movements. For example, it might be included in a workout that also includes pull-ups, handstand push-ups, and muscle-ups. The legless rope climb requires significant upper body strength, grip strength, and technique. It can be modified to suit different fitness levels by adjusting the height of the rope or by using a rope climb machine to simulate the movement. The legless rope climb requires proper technique and safety precautions, and it is often taught by a qualified coach.
