Game Boy Pokemon Red is a classic role-playing video game released in 1996 for the Game Boy console. It was developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo.
In the game, players take on the role of a young Pokemon trainer who sets out on a journey to become the greatest Pokemon Master. The player must travel across the Kanto region, catching and training various Pokemon, battling other trainers and gym leaders, and ultimately challenging the Elite Four and the Pokemon League Champion.
The game features a total of 151 Pokemon to catch, train, and battle with, including the iconic starter Pokemon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.
